Housing projects that are abandoned around the above-mentioned areas were not caused by poor location. The location had never been poor! Take the new housing projects in Jalan Kebun and Jalan Kampung Lombong in Seksyen 29 and Seksyen 30 Shah Alam, Johan Setia Klang and Jalan Kebun Baru Batu 9 and Batu 10 Kuala Langat as examples. Yes there have been numerous abandoned projects but the cause was never bad location! Never was and never will be.
I believe that housing developers like Upicon group, Achievers group, Bandacaya group, MSN group and Sin Hee Yang Property Management Sdn Bhd have not faced much problem in the take-up rate of their projects in these areas. In fact, registration of interest for most their projects to be launched have been overwhelming!
The contributing factor, to a great extent, is the location of their new housing projects being near to highway interchanges that provide good accessibility. Developers for new housing projects for terrace / link houses at Johan Setia Klang, Jalan Kebun Shah Alam, Kampung Kebun Baru have been riding on the advantage / plus point of the existing or coming up expressway interchange to boost the location attraction of their new housing projects. They should. This is good business sense. Do not reinvent the wheel that is working fine.
So, to the intending buyers of new houses - consider location when buy your house! Like what I have said, a strategic location already give you one leg up in term of value enhancement to your property.
