SKVE and new houses at Kuala Langat

SKVE section 2 - about 13 km stretch between Bandar Saujana Putra to Teluk Panglima Garang - was opened yesterday. It will add connectivity and accessibility to Banting, Jenjarom, Teluk Panglima Garang, Kebun Baru and Sijangkang. Travel to and from here to other cities in Klang Valley will become much faster and convenient. You will find people from other towns and states moving into these areas to stay.

Developers anywhere are the same in the way they make money - they have to build and sell houses to get their income, in both good and bad times. They need to continue acquiring land to develop to keep their operation moving in order to pay for their overheads. Developers cannot operate in such a way - good time they build, bad times they go for holiday and retrench all the staffs and expect to call them back to work next time they want to build houses again. No, they cannot do this. They have to be on continuous lookout to buy land or joint-venture with landowners to plan for their future projects.

SKVE with an interchange at Teluk Panglima Garang will make the surrounding areas good locations for development of new housing projects which include new houses for the lower and lower middle income earner's category. These areas have the potential of becoming new development centers outside Klang and Shah Alam. First time house owners will be OK with buying houses around here for the cheaper price it offers, for now.

The last stretch under SKVE section 3 is expected to be completed on July 2013. This stretch of about 19 km will link Putrajaya to Port Klang with an interchange at Pulau Indah. Once this is completed, it will make staying in Sijangkang, Kebun Baru, Teluk Panglima Garang, Jenjarom, Banting and Kuala Langat in general, more attractive, and increase the value of property.
